I have been at two funerals/wakes this past week and a half , I am spent beyond!
I find them hard even if I do not know the person , , harder in this case , One was a very close friends Father , and some are doozies where grief is explosive , this was one of them . I have never seen so many people at a wake before ,good for the family . I guess when it is sudden like this one was some say it is harder , I believe each situation is equal to the next , if you love someone , it isn't easy letting go in any manner . The saddest Is seeing people who outlive their family and friends and have no one to mourn for them , no flowers , no tears , That is such a shame .I was so moved in a case like this once that I went into a complete strangers wake next to the room I was viewing and said a prayer for the soul of the lonely soul before me ,I don't think she minded , I had a private conversation around 2minutes and then made my way back to where I was before without anyone knowing I was gone .
The whole situation is sad but is part of our world , God Bless all the lonely souls that leave this earth alone and help those who need it , a relief from their grief .
Treasure those that enrich your life ................

I thought that this was so cute , it kinda looks like on of my kitties , my brother sent it to me via email , he lives on the other side of the province about an 8 hr or so drive away in summer. I miss him terribly , I have two brothers both of which are older than I am ,one I grew up with ,one not so much ...... I am close to both ,love them equally but have different memories with both .
R who lives on the other side of the province was 5th degree Black Belt Tae kwon do instructor and is now recovering from a car accident , in a heart beat someone can change your life ,it sure did his . This accident happened a few years ago and things haven't been pretty , but he is alive that is the most important thing and I thank GOD everyday as he almost took him from us ,that would have been unbearable.
The snow falling tonight mixed with his email brings back memories of us as children , tobogganing/sledding and climbing endless mountains of snow for 20 seconds of sheer delight just to climb again and loving every toe numbing minute of it . He taught me to skate both ice and roller blade , both of which I haven't done in years sad to say ... He also pulverized me with snowballs and mobbed me after school but let no one else use me as a target LOL
It is funny how certain things bring back memories , just with a flicker of light or a scent , things deep in our minds surface ,to bring emotion back with it . Tonight it is all good ones , even the snowball fights I lost , or the taste of the snow as it found its way as I was being pounced on for fun . They all make me smile ,,,,,,,well most anyway HAHAHAHAHAH
whats one of your fav memories ??? Hope you share ,,love to read them all.
Hope your day is bright and you make wonderful memories.
