I confess --------------------------( TEEHEE ) I am a real romantic at heart a real softie too , the idea of love melts me. I love hearing stories of couples meet or a love that lasted many years , or lovers torn apart and rekindled ,just all the mushy stuff. I do not need constant attention from my partner or constant little romantic things done for me , a few ,well every girl needs a few I think. The idea of someone loving another person ,true love ,knowing all about them "warts and all" once the true colours shine through and in spite of it all they still love one another ,that kind of LOVE.

Now , I am a realist , sometimes both cannot exist at the same time LOL I know life edges its way into peoples lives and eat away the sweetness that 'once was' sometimes , somewhat like this cute little email I received from my forever ,non ending ,totally steeped cynical ,well loved(WINK) friend . As a romantic I thought it was cute .

Make sure you read the whole thing LOL and do as it reads ;)

Well, I haven't found that to be true with either of my marriages. And I think I am also kind of a romantic at heart. After loosing Annie I wanted another relationship like we had as it was wonderful for 38 years. I think I have found it and we are nearing our first anniversary near the end of this month.

Good Morning Green Eyes,
I so loved this post here. I am a big romantic person, but my DH isn't as romantic as I am. He is romantic in his own way, but nothing compared to me. LOL. The saying in the picture is just too funny. LOL. Me and my DH have been happily married now for 13 years. We have had our ups and downs, but we always work things out. The best part is making up. LOL. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Romance is for suckers with too much extra money to spend. Still, your altruistic and innocent approach to this post should be commended.

Though, I must admit, I think some of me is rubbing off on you (based on that last piece with the marriage quotes). Very funny!

Hey there, Greeneyes ... nothing wrong with being a romantic at heart ... I'm just the same, I love all that stuff you describe. However, romance has many disguises, and in my almost 20 years of marriage, it has been disguised a number of times LOL. Generally, hubby is romantic, but he does need reminding sometimes LOL.
Hope you are fighting fit, dear Greeneyes, and that the cold weather is on it's way out, and Spring on it's way.
Big hugs to you and yours.
Your Aussie Buddy, Meow xx
